NEVADA SAFETY AND HEALTH PROTECTION ON THE JOB
The Nevada Occupational Safety and Health Act, NRS Chapter 618, provides job safety and health protection for workers through the promotion of safe and healthful working conditions throughout the State of Nevada.
Safety and Health On-Site Consultation
SCATS offers on-site consultation services designed to help employers recognize and control potential safety and health hazards at their workplaces, improve their safety and health programs, and assist in training employees.
On-site consultation services are confidential and provided free of charge at the request of employers. The employer may request a full-service visit or limit their request to a specific problem. Consultation services are completely separate from the Nevada OSHA inspection and are performed by our staff of highly trained safety and health professional with many years of experience. Small businesses with high hazards receive priority for services. SCATS offers on-site consultation for health and safety throughout Nevada, including Reno and Las Vegas.
